Todd holds diplomas in Architectural Technology and Business Marketing from NAIT and combines formal education with a lifetime of real-world experience applicable to virtually any foundation repair scenario. He is also a recipient of multiple leadership and business awards, reflecting his dedication to excellence and innovation in the field.
Tammy
Sr. Operations Manager
Tammy plays a leading role in driving Shield forward, guiding both the day-to-day execution and the long-term vision of the business. With over 20 years of experience in management, customer service and administrative leadership across construction, oil and gas, and engineering, she now leads the overall coordination of Shield’s business operations.
Tammy ensures the company stays aligned and on track, with clear, effective processes and a solid foundation for continued growth. Her strategic mindset and lofty standards drive exceptional results for both the team and Shield’s customers.
Tim
Sr. Technical Field Manager
Tim brings over 25 years of construction experience, with specialized expertise in foundation repair, waterproofing, basement replacements, and structural lifting and leveling for both residential and commercial properties.
He’s the guy you want on your project, working side by side with our crews every day, overseeing progress, managing labour and materials, and ensuring everything runs safely and efficiently. His expertise in the field is unmatched, and he plays a critical role in training and mentoring our team to deliver top-tier results.
Adam
Field Operations Manager
With more than two decades of diverse construction experience, Adam leads our field
operations ensuring projects run smoothly from start to finish. His background spans
construction, demolition, grading, and water control, along with extensive work as a
superintendent for multi-unit residential and commercial projects.
Adam is highly skilled in project estimation and management, and his strong foundation in safety ensures every job site operates efficiently and responsibly. His hands-on expertise and leadership make him a key asset to our team and the successful execution of every project.
Melanie
Occupational Health & Safety Officer
Melanie’s career as a Safety Officer across Western Canada has spanned over 25 years, with certifications to work in Alberta, Saskatchewan, British Columbia, and the Territories. Her expertise spans a wide range of industries, including construction, transportation, road paving, manufacturing, and oil and gas.
Among her many achievements, Melanie has served as an auditor for the Alberta Construction Safety Association (ACSA), Alberta Motor Transport Association (AMTA), and the Manufacturers’ Health & Safety Association (MHSA), making her a trusted authority in workplace safety and compliance.
Colleen
Accounting
Colleen has an incredible 30 years of expertise in bookkeeping and administration, with the majority of her career spent in the construction industry specifically focused on foundation repair. Her deep knowledge of the financial and operational side of the business makes her an invaluable member of the Shield team. Colleen’s precision, reliability, and commitment to excellence ensure the company runs smoothly behind the scenes.

Administrative Assistant
For over 45 years, Anita has been delivering exceptional customer service and administrative support. With her calm demeanor, welcoming presence, and signature sense of style, she’s the perfect first point of contact at Shield. Anita is highly organized and dedicated to creating a positive, supportive experience for every customer from the moment they walk through the door or pick up the phone.
Brad
Sr. Project Manager
Brad brings over 18 years of construction experience, including 2 years in commercial concrete forming and pouring, and 8 years in residential home building. With a strong background in carpentry and framing, he has developed a solid understanding of structural construction from the ground up.
For the past 8 years, he has specialized in foundation repair, gaining deep insight into structural challenges and effective solutions.
Brad studied Carpentry at Saskatchewan Polytechnic in Moose Jaw and later completed Project Management studies at MacEwan University. His top priority is ensuring each homeowner receives the right repair solution to effectively resolve their foundation issues.
Alex
Sr. Project Manager
Alex brings 20 years of specialized experience in concrete and foundation work across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. His expertise spans structural repairs, flatwork, waterproofing, membrane systems, and interior and exterior foundation restoration.
With a strong background in concrete design ranging from decorative surfaces to landscapes and steps, Alex also stays current with the latest technologies, including AutoCAD for testing and inspections.
He is certified in radon testing and mitigation and has a deep understanding of modern building science. Passionate about solving problems, Alex is committed to helping homeowners feel safe, supported, and confident in the solutions he delivers.
